A Little Bit of Heaven on Earth is how I describe Ocean Day Spa. When I received a gift certificate package to ODS I had been suffering with shoulder pain for two years. I had lost almost all range of motion and strength in my left arm. I had tried Chiropractic care and had multiple physical therapy treatments but nothing seemed to help, it actually seemed to be getting worse. I was currently nursing my son so cortisone shots were recommended but not an option. The pain and loss of sleep was also causing insomnia and anxiety. When I went for my first massage I was expecting to be asked what type of massage I preferred Swedish, deep tissue, etc. Instead I was greeted with a warm caring smile and the question, "is anything specific bothering you?" After explaining my conditions, Kerry knew just what type of treatment I needed. It was AMAZING! She also took the time and talked me through a meditative exercise to teach me how to relax and get better rest. I have never been that relaxed. After just one visit I had immediate relief from pain. After the second visit, I had almost full range of motion back. Today I have complete use of my left arm and NO PAIN and I am enjoying many the benefits from other services provided at ODS. Ocean Day Spa has been a gift of healing for me.Body, Mind and Soul. I am so very thankful for the special loving people that work there. It's been a Little Heaven on Earth.

Where do I start? The first time I visited Ocean Day Spa it was because I had purchased a special they were running(1/2 hour facial, 1/2 hour massage and 30 min. sauna).It was the perfect way to see what this place was all about. I've lived in San Francisco for 8 years and now in San Diego for the past 21/2 years and this is the best Spa I've ever been to. I've never come across a Spa that has this high of competency. Every Massage Therapist is well above average in their knowledge and technique. Thank God for this place!
